What is curb rash?
Curb rash is the scraping, scratching and gouging that happens when a wheel rubs against a curb, a parking block or the edge of a pothole. It usually shows up on the outer lip of the rim, and it's one of the most common kinds of wheel damage, especially on cars with low-profile tires, where the rim sits close to the curb.
Besides looking rough, scraped areas leave bare metal exposed, which can start to corrode over time. Fixing it early keeps the damage from spreading and keeps your car looking sharp.
Repair, don't replace
Most curb rash is cosmetic and can be repaired for a fraction of the cost of a new rim. Bends and cracks are structural damage rather than curb rash; if you're not sure what you're looking at, text us a photo and we'll let you know.

Common questions
How long does a repair take?
It depends on the job. Deeper damage needs more sanding and grinding, and more intricate rim and spoke designs take longer to tape off properly. A typical repair takes about 1 to 2 hours. Weather can also play a part, since the paint needs the right conditions to dry.
How much does it cost?
Rim repair starts at $85 per rim. The final price depends on the damage and the finish. Text us a photo at 416-800-1757 and we'll confirm your price before we start.
Do I need to remove my rims or bring my car in?
No. We're a mobile service: we come to your home, workplace or dealership, so there's no need to remove your rims and ship them away.
What types of rims do you repair?
All of them: two-tone, hyper silver, machine finish, black, painted and more. If you're not sure what finish you have, send us a photo.
